Immunizations/Vaccines

Vaccinations and Immunizations

What Vaccines Does My Child Need?

  • 1-6 Months

    • Hepatitis B

    • Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (DTaP)

    • Haemophilus Influenzae

    • Polio (IPV)

    • Pneumococcal (PCV)

    • Rotavirus

  • 7-11 Months

Usually, the first 6 months will cover all of the needed vaccinations. If any were missed, it should be done now. Also, it is encouraged that infants 6 months and older should receive the flu shot as well.

  • 1 Year – 23 Months

The CDC recommends that your child should be fully immunized by 2 years old. The following vaccines will complete the needed prevention and immunity from harmful diseases.

    • Chickenpox

    • Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (DTaP)

    • Haemophilus Influenzae

    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)

    • Polio (IPV)

    • Pneumococcal (PCV)

    • Hepatitis A

    • Hepatitis B

  • 2 – 3 Years

During this time your child should be up-to-date on all of their needed vaccines. An annual flu vaccination along with a well-child exam is encouraged.

  • 4 – 6 Years

    • Polio (IPV)

    • Diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough (DTaP)

    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella

    • Chickenpox

    • Flu

  • 7 – 10 Years

Your child is all caught up on their vaccines, if all of the previous years were met. We always encourage an annual flu vaccination and well-child exam.

  • 11 – 12 Years

The following vaccines are recommended by the CDC to protect your child, your family, and your child’s friends.

    • Meningococcal Conjugate

    • HPV

    • Tdap

    • Flu

  • 13 – 21 Years

At age 13 most of your required vaccines have been completed. We encourage an annual checkup and flu vaccine. Some schools and/or jobs require specific needs, which we offer as well.
